Hugh Grant has opened up about the unique monikers that he has given his two youngest daughters while also narrating how he thought of them in a hurry.

On the day when my wife and I selected her name, I remember feeling somewhat uneasy

Hugh, now 64 years old, has taken on the role of a proud father to five children over the last thirteen years.

In 2011, he cordially welcomed Tabitha Xiao Xi Grant with his partner at the time, Tinglan Hong. A year later, Anna Eberstein, his current spouse, gave birth to their first child John Mungo, with great happiness.

In another unexpected development, Tinglan gave birth to Felix, Hugh’s third child, a mere three months after the arrival of John Mungo.

Later on, Hugh got back together with Anna and two more daughters were born to them in 2015 and 2018 respectively.

As of now, Hugh and Anna have refrained from sharing the names of their youngest daughters with the public. During the most recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actor from Heretic said that the names he and his wife had picked were the ones he revealed ‘in a bit of panic.’

It wasn’t long before Hugh was asked by Jimmy if he had a middle name, hence, the chat began. I really must ask what your middle name is now – I cannot fathom why I forgot to ask you about it when next we met. “Mungo could very well be one of your middle names, could it not, dear?” he gently posed the question.

As Hugh disclosed, one of his middle names is Mungo, and he remarked, “It’s actually Hugh John Mungo.” I do not know the origins of this. My dad was not very nice in general.

When asked about why all his children were given middle names that are similar, Hugh explained that it is because he did not like a certain middle name, which he gave to his 8-year-old daughter.

At the outset, he went on record saying, “I have one child, a daughter, who is named. The day my wife and I settled on a name for her, I was slightly nervous. “

He articulated that they thought it would be a nice thing for her someday to be able to drop in conversations, without any care to the world, that her middle name happens to be Danger. Lulu Danger Grant is the girl’s name as it turns out.

Eventually, Hugh revealed that his Daughter, who is six years old, is named Blue.

Memory does fade, though I seemed to remember growing anxious with my wife once again about picking a name, so we sought help from [Lulu’s] elder brother, since we knew she was coming,” he recalls.

We stated earlier that there is a new baby arriving soon. He thought to himself, “What name would suit her?” He said with great enthusiasm, “Kevin!” because that was his favorite character from the Minions movie Despicable Me.

At first, we thought of calling her Kevin, however, we finally settled on a different name. He said in a pensive manner that ‘Blue’ was picked because it was the color he liked most.
