Kristin Cavallari recently disclosed a terrifying incident when she woke to find a masked intruder slinking across the floor of her bedroom while she was sleeping with her little son.

“That was the moment I was awakened by my bedroom door being unlatched,” Kristin remembered. “I have stirred him up to spend some time lying there, and most certainly does not creep around my bedroom floor.”

Kristin Cavallari has now summoned episodes of terrifying experiences where, in the instance when she was sleeping with her then eight-year-old son Camden, she awoke to find a masked intruder creeping about over the floor in the bedroom . Kristin revealed this in her podcast episode about “Let’s Be Honest” last Tuesday, during which she shared what went down in 2020
Further on the show, Kristin, who happens to be 37 now, mentioned that the break-in actually happened at a time when she had traveled to the Bahamas in 2020 with her then-husband Jay Cutler and their three kids, Camden, Jaxon, 6 at the time, and Saylor, 5.

The pandemic constraints meant that they had to extend the holiday for a whole month in the resort, shifting homes from a condo to a house only during their last week.

Kristin recalled that they had once been in an absolutely lovely, really gated resort, as far as they could tell secure – far removed from the possibility of theft. On that particular day, she said that she was supposed to call for maintenance services to attend to the repair of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. On that very day, she called and reported maintenance for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning problems.

“I had Camden in bed with me. Camden and I went to sleep early before everyone else; I wasn’t really aware of where everyone else was in the house,” shared Kristin. “But I was awakened by the sound of my bedroom door opening and the light from the kitchen startling me, and woke up to find a man crawling on my bedroom floor. ““I was really disoriented because I had just woken up, and I said: ‘What the hell are you doing?’” she continued, adding that only when the man bolted out of the room did she understand it wasn’t her husband.

“It’s not him” She stated, “This man stood up, dashed out the door and, you guys, he wore a ski mask, had completely black arms, black pants, and the whole ensemble. And I thought: ‘Oh no,’ like, that was not Jay…I don’t know who that was,” Kristin recalled, admitting that she didn’t “yell” or “scream” because she didn’t want to disturb her son. You believe that in those scenarios that’s what you would do, but your instincts just take over,” she explained.

Her incredulity was such, further explained Kristin, relative to this whole ghastly incident, that she didn’t seem to understand until she aroused Jay to inform him what happened and how scary it had been. At first, she tried to text him but instead found him asleep and so had to leave Camden asleep in their room to check that he and their other two children were alright.

I used to step out and come back into the house to be met with ignorance as to the whereabouts of anyone in the home, so Kristin reminisced about her past and then went further to say, “I check the bedroom across the way; there’s no one in there. I’m like: ‘What the hell. I go upstairs, cause Jay was up there with Jaxon and Saylor, I think they were both there with him.
“I woke Jay up, and as soon as I woke him, I got very anxious. Like extremely frightened,” she continued. “Then I started shaking-trembling, really. It was only then I was able to process what had happened- before that moment, I had not been scared, I was rather composed. “

They later realized that all the money in the house had been stolen; however, the police were able to catch the burglar and retrieve the stolen money. “In a nutshell, he emptied the backpack that carried all the money from us,” reported Kristin. “But we got it back in the end.” We found out who it was-the HVAC technician. “

She just told Jay, “I can’t tell the kids; it’s too traumatic to explain.” “This is what I think could really scare them.” The intruder, as she described, “Came in the house, crawled on the floor in my bedroom, and went under the closet to steal jewelry.”
