Lana Del Rey Speaks About Delaying Marriage with Strange Words about Husband Jeremy Dufrene.
Really, if you are a true follower of Lana Del Rey, then you would surely know the sides of her that there are some bits of information she shared with the public about her personal life. In fact, one can say that she hardly gives interviews as a normal person does. On that note, you probably heard, after months of speculation about their relationship, Lana married swamp boat captain Jeremy Dufrene at the beginning of the year. As almost everyone predicted, not much of Lana’s dotting comments have followed about the relatively surprising wedding — but that changed during her remarks at last night’s Variety Hitmakers shindig, where she made rare comments about her union with Jeremy. In her remarks, Lana attributed producer and frequent collaborator, Jack Antonoff’s , marriage to Margaret Qualley as another reason for waiting for love to come to her.
-“I’m grateful to him for the model he provided in his union with Margaret,” she noted Watching how he gazed at her as they met, though, is a major reason for me to delay my marrying and that reason I have got to my “Honestly, I am feeling somewhat of a singer’s curse regarding finding an honest partner without any stake in the matter, and it’s too much of a hassle to sustain this innocent view of how things might turn out when you’re part of an industry where maybe everything with you doesn’t hold the same values or ethics; most especially when people presume that you probably wouldn’t have any morals or, for that matter, values.”
Well, that’s sweet! Lana also thanked Jack for “maybe helping people see me in a light that perhaps is a little closer to how I see myself.” Coincidentally, Lana’s next album is titled The Right Person Will Stay, so we can expect to learn more about her relationship via her music when it drops next May.
